During this Karkidakom Adhyatma Ramayanam, a Malayalam classic written by Thunchathu Ezhuthachan in the sixteenth century, is going to take a new shape for the Malayalam reading public. Actually, this book has spiritual, literary and linguistic importance in Kerala's cultural scene. It is being widely read in every Hindu house especially in the month of Karkidakom. With this work Ezhuthachan is considered to be as the father of Malayalam Language.


An E-book is a book readable in electronic devices like computer.
In 2006 I made a mobile edition for the same epic as a Jar file and it was received well in the Malayalam community world around. And the same response gave me inspiration for making such a PDF version.

In my effort this 500-page book was converted into a PDF file with a size of 1 MB. All the Six Kandas from Balakandam to Udhakandam- are included in the file. In any Computer or Smart Phone with a facility to read the PDF files, one can open my e-book and start reading of this Malayalam classic. (Almost every computer
and smart phones are truly equipped with Acrobat reader for reading this kind of files.)

I intend to start a new website exclusively for Malayalam E-books, a new series already started with this classical work , for a changing society in this age of information technology. Like my other contributions (Mobile Ramayanam, Mobile Thirukkural, Phone novel, Phone magazine and Pocket film) this edition will also
create a friendly attitude in the readers towards the presentatioon of traditional cultural elements through new technological devices.
